THE VAULT Memoirs

The inspiration behind this gif comes from my personal battle with the acceptance of self, imperfections included. Growing up in an Indian household of engineers and doctors, I often found myself embarrassed of my flaws as failure to achieve perfection was heavily frowned upon. Being raised in such an environment I did what any wavered child would, I aimed for perfection and searched for acceptance through my successes while despising foible. As I began to age, I started to understand the beauty of imperfection. I realized, it is not the failures and flaws that make one weak, it is rejecting them. After all, the frailties set you apart, make you the one you in all of this world, it is—The Rarities.
